Next 13th Symposium: MAINTENANCE OF THERMO-MECHANICAL POWER EQUIPMENT, this year under the slogan:

‘Managing the productive property of a group of power plants’

took place between 6 and 7 October in Hotel Angelo, Katowice (Poland).

As usual, the Symposium took place under the honorary patronage of the President of the Board of the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT), Mr. Marek Walczak.

On behalf of the President of Association of Polish Electrical Engineers SEP  Professor Jerzy Barglik Mr Tomasz Kołakowski, Editor-in-Chief of the monthly "Energetyka", passed on to Mr Jerzy Trzeszczyński Recommendations of SEP, whoch have been prolonged for the sixth time now.

During opening part of the Symposium their addresses to the participants presented also:

Mr Stanisław Tokarski - President of the Board of TAURON Wytwarzanie S.A.,
Mr Sylweriusz Brzuska - representative of the Office of Technical Inspection.
During the four sessions 24 papers were delivered. 180 people attended the Symposium. Among them there were mainly the representatives of Polish power plants, repair and diagnostic companies, Office of Technical Inspection (UDT) and universities.
